Is it wrong that i'm starting 2 wonder if i shouldn't have a hen night at all because if i go for what i want then not everyone will be there but if i do what they want then i won't be happy!!!

OMG I was JUST about to post the same thing!!! I'm getting married in August 2012 too hunnie ;) My friends are all so different and some of them can be quite awkward when they want to be!! They don't all get on either!! I dont know if I could do a night away without someone murdering somebody else ;) haha!!

i was thinking of having 2, one that my mom, mil and the older ladies could attend, then one i wouldnt want my mom seeing (lol) for all the younger ladies and go clubbing ect xx

i really wanted a spa weekend n nice dinner, don't get me wrong i absoloutly love a night out with my friends but i think that i can do that anytime & not really special for my hen night!!!
Hardly any of my friends would travel to a spa though because i wanted to go to 1 in poole.
It just seems like so much extra stress that i dont need!!!!

That was partly my thinking, MariaLouise. I have a lot of guy friends so I'm having a "Stag do" for them, a hen do away with just like mother, sil, couple of aunts and bridesmaids, and then a night locally for mil, nans, younger cousins etc. Lol x

am just gonna have a normal nyt out, without my bridesmaids (sisters) as they prefere to drink in the huose and wont like were a go anyway (rock clubs) plus it's gonna be bad enough having them at the wedding (all 3 of us together is like world war3)

it's usually me that cancels on my friends coz i'm more happy to stay in with my h2b & 2 kids (probs sounds sad)
i may just leave it to very last minute n just go 4 a meal but treat me, moh, bridesmaid, mum & mil 2 spa

My sil did a sex and the city night with cocktails cinema and cheese cake. Then the next night we were all in black dresses and her in white out for a meal and casino.
I dont know if i want i hen night my moh will be anning big fancy dress out on the town thing and i would probably just prefer going away for a spa. I am jot a big drinker at all yeh i will have a few but really i couldnt care less if i never drank again.
Its your night. Try explain to your friends that it is your night and thats what you would prefer.

Yes you can, and it would be nice if you could do something different! My sister's my MOH and gets anxious about meeting new people so she won't b organising anything and tbh I'd either like a meal out with H2B and both sets of parents or a girly face pack type do that my girls could join in!

Kaz my ideal 1 was a spa down in poole, its the lush spa (the bath bomb shop)
My h2b is wanting 2 go away for the weekend racing for his stag do, so i thought a spa weekend & meal would be perfect but alot of my friends havent been to keen on the idea, they just wanna go on a p**s up!!! even though i do like a good 1, aint my idea of my perfect hen weekend.
