    Evening girls.

The more I think about my dress the more Im not sure about it. I brought an off the rail one, and dont get me wrong, its beautiful, but I dont feel amazing when I put it on. I think in my heart of heart I only brought it coz it was the one my mum loved and she cried when she see me in it. Im on a really tight budget, but did the stupid thing of going to a bridal shop and trying on expensive dresses (I did this before I brought my dress). I found one I totally fell head over heels in love with but it was £900, no way I could afford it. But this dress is always on my mind, and I wish I was having it for my wedding.

I know I will look nice on the day in the dress I brought. Do u think I should just stick with it?

I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

You get married once - take the other one back and give them a sob story about the wedding being off. If they won't take it, try ebay. And get the one you want - you'll regret it forever if you don't!

I cant take it back coz it was a one weekend only discount wedding shop. I have considered e-bay but I really dont wanna hurt my mums feelings, she paid for the dress as well.

You should feel amazing when you put your dress on honey, if your not happy with it then take it back with some sob story like Kizzy said! You can get some BEAUTIFUL dresses on a budget, just shop arround a bit more :)

Or not, is it anything in particular about the dress that you think you don't like as much. Like is there anything you could get added to make yourself feel better in it? There are lots of good independant seamstreses that might be able to add/change something to make it perfect :)

oh hugs hun (((()))) - im on a budget but saw the dress im having and knew i had to haveitT - ITS £850 which is way more than i wanted to spend- but ive been able to pay for it monthly and i feel so lovely in it!! i knew id regret it if i didnt have it - after all u only marrry once (well most do lol). are u able to sit down with ur mum and tell her how u feel- she might be ok!! id try and sell it on ebay and ask about paying monthly for the dress u want. I know some china ebay shops will reproduce ur dream dress at less than half the price of the actual dress- so is that an option- i thought of doing this but didnt want to take the risk of it not being quite what i wanted!!

I done exactly the same and now spend night and day trying to sell mine and cant, i tried another dress on and right away nearly cried but because i bought the other my budget has just gone to pot, i went to a dress maker and she could make similar but we couldnt find the exact details, i looked on e bay and the dress i tried was called amelia by the shop, when really the range of forever yours are just numbers so cannot find it, i cannot stop thinking about the dress but know i cannot afford it really unless i pay weekly i feel like the other dress is dragging me down and i want rid of it to start a fresh and get on with my wedding plans. have you advertised it on sellmydress, gumtree etc . your like me trying to please other people, after loads of rows i have stopped cos its your wedding do what makes you happy

gosh! l did just that, l bought my first dress as l was being all sensible and it was in a sale £ 395, l couldnt sleep it just didn't seem right a very light ivory it felt younge, so l went to another shop and bought my dream dress three times the price lol but l love it, l just can't wait for it to arrive, l was out trying on my sample dress on sat as my daughter had never seen it she was shocked! said it was just me, so over coffee l told her about the first dress and she couldn't stop laughing, then she said she was thinking she would like to get married to her childhood sweatheart of 10yrs, l took her to sisters house and she fell in love with first dress how lucky was that, so go get your dream dress hunni xx
