Congrats and welcome to the forum :) I originally wanted one of those grand venues (marquee by a lake omg so pretty), but it was out of our budget, so instead we found a beautiful eclectic hotel closer to town, instead of a marquee we're having a garden wedding and I really love the venue. Try to think of the main things you want from your venue, mine was I HAD to be able to get married outside, so I started looking at venues that could offer me that. There are loads of stunning, but cheaper, venues out there :) good luck! xx
