We are not having a regular guest book, what we want is a photo of us (being taken at our pre-wedding portrait session next month) and having it mounted on board and then in a big mount.
And then guests sign around the outside.
But I'm not sure what its called, and each time some asks me what we are having I have to explain the hole thing.
Does anyone know the proper name for these please?
As an extra, my little sister is buying us a finger print tree, which is a A3 sheet with a tree trunk and branches and comes with instructions and 2 different green ink pads, then guests use their finger print to put a leaf on the tree.
Which I thought was lovely.

I think it's just a framed signing mount / picture ???
Not sure about the finger print tree??? Would it get a little messy with the ink? Don't think I'd like to do that as a guest but thats just me!

My photographer calls it a signing frame!
Theres loads of threads on here about it hunni so just have a look see what everyone else thinks about them!
We are having this but decided instead of a pic from our pre shoot we are going to get a caricturist to draw us in our wedding outfits before the day and having that in there instead!!! (we are having a caricturist during the meal so thought this would be a nice twist)

My photographer is calling it a signature frame too. They are throwing it in free for us, as we didnt want a pre-wedding shoot, they are going to blow up a photo we are going to take ourselves :) xx

Cool, thank you.
Ahhh well I'm normally on the other side of the camera you see, but my friend is photographing our wedding and I told her what I wanted to do and she said she'd do it for free too. I'm having it blown up and mounted by the printed we use for all our clients stuff.
xx
ps its abit like using a dictionery to know how to spell something eh, if you don't know how to spell it/what its proper name is, you can't search for it :-)
