    Hello :)

Need some advice! I've chosen my bridesmaids. I think 4 is a nice number and would be within budget. So I've chosen my sister, h2b's sister, my best friend since I was little, and my best friend from down here in Devon since we moved down here. But there's one of my relatively close friends I haven't asked. She doesn't seem offended at all, but I really want her to have some sort of input/role in the wedding. She has done alot for us. Anyone got any ideas of how we could involve her in the day without making her a full-blown bridesmaid? We have thought about a reading, but does anyone have any different ideas?

    Thank you! :) xx

aww yeah a witness would be a major part and I am sure she would be thrilled with that! Otherwise ask her to do a speech at the reception or something? Maybe she could go with you to choose your wedding dress, food tastings etc.? x

i had the same issues when trying to pick my bridesmaids, so instead of having any friends im just having my 2 sisters and H2Bs niece. this is coz ive known most of my female friends for the same amount of time and have been close to them all, so can't pick anyone over the others, but instead, we're having one of them as our witness with her fiance (H2Bs friend) and my eldest friend who was also my house mate i am going to ask to be the master of ceremonies so that she controls the speeches and introduces everyone. Am still thinking about roles for some of the others that aren't bridesmaids too xxx

Yep I agree a reading or witness. I have 6 bridesmaids (my 5 best friends since I was 11 and my sister). 3/4 years ago a new member came into our circle of friends who I get on really well with and like you, wanted to include her in some way. Therefore, I have asked her to be one of our Witnesses.

Readings are really good. If she's musically inclined she could sing/play a song. She could also help with the guest book. There are a lot of little ways she could be included in your day. What is something she'd enjoy doing?

I agree to that you can choose her as a Witness or you can ask her to participate in the reception program. I think she could understand that. I also do have the same problem regarding this. I need to choose 5 bridesmaid only so I chose my girlfriends since highschool there were 3 of them then I chose 2 of my close cousins. Then my husband to be wants to include his sister but we were already out of the budget so this is my problem now.. :( Can't put her as a witness because she is too young to be a witness.
