Just called our local independant menswear shop as they had "Half price sale" written everywhere, to ask if that extended to any hire prices, needless to say she laughed at me and said "no" as if I'm stupid! I know it was a long shot to even ask but to actually laugh at a potential customer is BAD service... They can get stuffed and be removed from my list of potential places to hire So freakin annoyed!
I know bridal shops can be b!tches but I didn't expect that from a menswear shop... I've out it on Fb too! Ha.ha.ha.
Ill marry my hero

That's terrible service. Why would you laugh at a customer? Awful!

That's bad. Someone in a coffee shop once laughed behind my back because I'd gone in the take away line instead of the drink in line, which were not well signed. She came over when I sat down with my drink to tell me, and put it into a proper mug, but then was sat on the next table telling her friend and laughing. Needless to say I didn't go back there.

It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

That is horrible. She shouldn't have laughed and should have said something like 'I'm sorry but the half price sale only applies to suits that are brought and not hired'. It's not exactly hard to be polite; especially to a potential customer

I would avoid them like the plague if their staff treat prospective customers in that manner.

I witnessed a similar incident in Southampton on saturday afternoon, but it was nothing to do with staff being rude, this was a "customer".
Liz and I were in the A*&^e store, just quickly checking emails, etc, when this lad and his girlfriend were being a bit lod and mouthy, which made us look up, but we turned a blind eye....Then he launched facetime and shouted "C*&T"!!!!!!!!! right into the screen. So, I said "excuse me? Do you have to use that language in here? There's kids about!" His woman just laughed and i thought if all youre trying to to is impress her, well....
I told a member of staff who was nearby, but it annoyed me that she was only feet away and didn't seem to hear!
