It may be my nerves kicking in even though I'm not getting married for another 9 months, but did anyone not feel confident/beautiful /pretty on their wedding day?

I'm really worried that once I get into my dress on the morning of our wedding I just won't feel pretty and I'll get really upset.

Please tell me I'm not alone in feeling like this!

I was worried about that but on the day I felt amazing. Once you've got your hair and make-up done you'll feel like a totally different person.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Try not to compare yourself to anyone else and don't worry about being perfect. I won't be going for too much makeup or anything as it's just not me. I would like a comfortable but flattering dress and a decent haircut just before. A genuine happy smiling face is the most beautiful thing ever. Hold your head up high and allow yourself a few tears if needs be. It's good to let it out.

You will stunning... I think it's just nerves!!
I dwell on being the centre of attention, especially when I hear that other people have recently become engaged I start thinking about how much better theyre going to look in a wedding dress than me and how theyre going to outdo me... Basically being a total plum.
A genuine smile can light your face and make you the most beautiful person in the room, not to mention your hair, makeup and the fact you're going to be the only one in a wedding dress :-D

Dont worry, push other feelings to the back of your mind and let the good throughts shine though.

I'm worried about having spots on the day as I tend to suffer a bit more from them if I get stressed which I imagine will happen a lot in the run up to the day so I'm trying really hard to be good to my skin and do a proper cleanse, tone, moisturise routine everyday to help keep things at bay.

Like the other ladies say, you will look beautiful on the day and your partner will certainly think so as he loves you no matter what. Just think of all the times he's told you you're beautiful even when you're in your pjs smooshing round the house. X

My worry is the photos after as on the day I feel pretty and even during having photos taken I feel fine but then when I look at them after I hate them and feel ugly and stupid and worry i'll be same after the wedding x

I had a wobble around your sort of stage Steff and it does pass. It's just nerves and when you get to your day, that will be the furthest thing from your mind as all you care about is getting married! :) x
