things have come to a bit of a stop. moneys not coming in like usual coz oh has had to change jobs but changing again nx wk so hopefully be saving again. but coz alot of things r being done by the venue i dont have alot to do, n i dont want to do invites and things just to store them away till nx year! dont even need to find glass wear for sweet table now coz my mums friend is doing that for me now. waiting to c a friends photo album that shes doing for another wedding to c if i want her or not n thats not for another month! not even feeling excited by it any more just seems so far away. we r also waiting for tax return so we can get proof of earning so we can get a mortgage to move house this year n that seems to b taking forever.

I think everyone has times like that hun, but just enjoy the rest while you can, you'll soon find you have lots to do and you'll regret not making the most of that break while you had the chance xxx

Take a break, it sounds like you need it. Breaks are better then getting completely burnt out.
I was totally like that. I agree take a break, dont do anything for the wedding for a couple of days.
I had nearly two years after booking my venu and big things, and i still felt se excited but had nothing to do. I just had to take a step back, its hard but you can do it. But after a month of nothing I got back into it and it did give me time to do research, read magasines and real weddings,so i could find exactly what i liked and wanted and where i could get it for a good price. e.g. dresses. tiaras, wedding readings, Song playlistsetc ,favours, wedding rings.etc. Its not something that you can do every day or night but it does take a bit of time and keeps the excitement esp if you can talk to your H2B about it.
My mum Is doing a lot of the things, and the venue is. But I have a plan. For everything i am making, i am listing the items neded and once a month i will buy the stuff and make the item. make it last a bit longer. however there will still be a lot of things that just cant be done until the last month/weeks.
Plus you will come on here once every so often and see the numbers going down. that always makes me happy. :)
Make a coffee and have a cake. :)

sometimes life just happens and it ruins your buzz. im there at the moment. Barely been online and had no interest in doing anything weddingy, despite my having things I can be getting on with. Tom is also spazzing out about the next instalment for the venue as we've had a tough few weeks financially as well. So it's all just killed the mood abit recently. I know how you feel hun.
Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey
*Kelbel* is my wedding twinny!

We have had a bit of a lul to be honest. Have a few things booked but starting from next week things are picking up again.
I am sure once you get to a stage that you need to start doing things again you will feel much better about things :) xx

We all end up slowing down at some point in wedding planing as you run out of things to do or you have to play the waiting game till you can actually get into gear and put deposits down etc How you think I feel I have 3 years till my Wedding and I cannot pay a deposit or book a registrar or anything till maybe mid of next year as they are only just taking bookings for 2014 So I know to well of the waiting game but I find things to do I never loose interest in the wedding their is far to much to look forward too but sometimes it gets meh down But I just come on UKB and the lovely Brides on here cheer me up =D ♥ X

Things are in a lull for me too, and it looks like we're getting married around the same time... I planned a total break from wedding planning while I did an online training course - focused on that for a few weeks & got a qualification to show for it - if I'd not done that I'd have been planning & spending & getting too much too soon. But now I'm spending a few weeks focussing on family - a birth & bereavement in one week :-) / :-( I thnk its good to take a break, otherwise I'd be spending so much time planning it that maybe I'd feel a bit 'lost' not doing any planning after the day has passed, if you know what I mean?

Same here, we've done all we can do now until closer to the time. I get asked all the time how the wedding plans are going and I always say in a non excited way "fine" people think we're too chilled out about it but its only because we're very organised so we can sit back and relax.
Closer to the time I could be a nervous stressed wreck lol.

Maybe you and H2B can take some time out together, to make the most of being able to just be together without thinking about the wedding. Soon enough you'll be desperate for time like that.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
