Im from sunderland I wanted to get married at St Michaels church its in the city centre of sunderland but from there I have no idea about reception or anything. Still looking getting few ideas on ther places as well though. Where in Durham you getting married? xx

Hi Nadene I'm from South Shields but getting married in Matfen Hall in Northumberland. Also went to uni in Sunderland, although I haven't been over there in ages as I now work in Newcastle City Centre. What sort of reception are you looking for and how big? The Quayside exchange hosts wedding recptions but is rather large. We had one of our uni balls there and it was lovely in the summer with a BBQ outside. The other option is to head down to the coast but I am biased as I live near the coast and totally love it x

hi nadene am from newcastle and gettin married at lumley castle if ya need stuff a can give ya our suppliers am have my ful day at the castle :) found it easier to have it all in the same place try lookin for hotel that will put on your wedding breakfast are evening do :)

We are getting married there and having the reception... I love that place, we are going in august for a few days and our photographer is going to take some pickies of the kiddies. Are you going to the wedding fair in October? I really want to go but we will see....
