Just been looking into transport, and contacted someone from Norwich who advertised his car at £250, when I emailed him he replyed saying that as we are not marrying in Norwich it would be £500! That is double just for coming 45 minutes down the road to Yarmouth! What is that, about £20 extra in petrol??? Can't believe the cheek of some people! Needless to say we aren't booking him! xxx

They really do, its because they know that we are prepared to pay for the things that are important to us, so they add a couple of zeros on the end of what they would normally charge for the same service! xx

Nope, I'm paying nearly double that! lol Ours is £1000 and includes - 2 photographers from preperation through to 11pm - A disc of all edited images with copyright - DVD slideshow of images to music - 40 page graphistudio album - Photobooth for the evening - Either a large photo, or 2 medium ones (framed) - 2 photos for the parents (printed on site so can be given as thank you's) - A photo calender for the following year - a pre-wedding photo shoot with all edited images on a disc
But his price for this package is now £1750 (we booked him last April)
It was something I didn't mind paying more for as this is one of the only things that will last after the actual day of the wedding. But there are some deals out there to be had. Have you tried doing the quote me thing on here for photographers? You tell them when and where you are getting married and what you are looking for and then photographers who can provide it email you with a quote. It may be useful for you? xxx

We're not getting married there but we went to view it, they weren't very helpful tbh & rushed us around! But my dad knows people that have married there & they loved it :) Our photographer is £950! I'm not too fussed about transport, I'll just hire one of their cottages & walk there lol, saves money! xx

Welcome Zoe, I'm afraid I haven't been to that one before, but I did go to their one in September at Dunston Hall and found it to be great. There were lots of people there and lots of little freebies (especially cakes!) but one warning, the suppliers who tend to go there charge very high prices, so don't go rushing into buying anything while you are there without doing your research on what other people can provide the same sevrice for. Most of the stalls are parts of big companies (remember they have to buy the stall and still have people working in their shops as Saturday and Sunday are the main days that people shop for their wedding bits!) so they tend to be the most expensive. They were brilliant! My mum stayed there for 15 minutes just listening to them play! They were doing both classical and up to date stuff (they did chasing cars and it was amazing!). I'm sure you won't be dissapointed :) If I wasn't having a church wedding I would have booked them! xxx

Yeah she really is Julie! And she only had maybe one or two that were over £1000, the rest were around the £700 mark (but me being me went for one that was £945! lol) luckily my mum is paying for mine! but she did throw in a free veil for me which should have been £150! xxx
