I just had a call from my step brother to tell me that his mate - whos a semi pro photographer and was gonna do our wedding piccies - had all his kit stolen from McDonalds in Manchester at the weekend!!
So he cant do our photos!
He said this blokes mate who taught him photography will do it but i dunno if its gonna cost us or not.

Was his stuff insured? Maybe he will be able to replace it under house insurance (contents away from the home) and still be able to do your pics? :( x

Yes apparently he was insured. Chris - my step brother said he was in Maccy D's with his missus and kids and put his kit down, when he went to get up it had gone... £2000 worth of equipment!
Im gonna call him in a bit see what he says, but even if the insurance pay he may not get it in time to replace the stuff for my wedding. I really feel for him. Im gonna call him in a bit.
Ive booked him a hotel room, so im gonna let him take it and still come the wedding, i think its the least i can do under the circumstances.

worst come to worst and u cant afford his mate could u maybe borrow a good cam from someone he could take pics with might not be as good but if hes a good photographer he can take a great pic with anything. big hugs good luck!

Lol no Jen... its a hobby he has, but his work is great!
He's actually a body piercer by trade lol - tattooed literally from head to toe!
If i cant get a replacement ill have to rely on my guests. For some reason im not stressing about it too much cos theres nothing i can do really, and we cant afford £600 plus for someone else to do it.
It'll be reet.

i dont think i'd stress either now coz finding the money would be the worst bit i'm sure you can get someone to do some gawjus digital pics and you could get a canvas done afterwards or something i order them all the time for ppl xx

Problem SOLVED
Just spoke to him and he has aranged for someone else to do it!
He was really apologetic, but its not his fault.
