huni you have your man and your baby so you really don't need anyone else

you can make the decision on your dress and if you really want someone to come with you why not suggest ur H2B i know a few brides that have had there other half help pick the dress

That's horrible. You still have plenty time on your side at the moment. How old is your baby? Are they old enough for playgroup? Thats a good way of meeting new people and making friends. I really wouldn't worry about it just now tho, x

Most of the people where you live were probably outsiders at some point too! How long has it been since you moved there? I say give it time, there are many ppl don't like change but it's part of life so everyone has to deal with it. x

Jo- don't panic hun you don't need fake friends. You might yet meet someone who will always stand by you.
With our CP we had one on my OH's cousins as she is more like a sister this time i am hoping we will have our babies by then so they will take over as wont need them to do any duties as we have each other. Not much help i know but don't stress. Ask your mum or MIL to help with your dress for now x

Find some groups to join where you can meet new friends, like a hobby group, reading group or exercise or dance class. You could also ask on here if there is anyone in your area who fancies helping you with the dress, and with other things that your MOH would normally do. What about your future mother-in-law and any future sisters-in-law? Do you have a good relationship with them? I'm sure they'd love to help.

You could always have your step daughter invite a friend and her mum over? You'd have something in common to break the ice with?

Hun, tbh it's better having none than having a few who do nothing! I have three who haven't done a thing for my wedding. Haven't even helped me with my dress, totally let down by them so don't worry.

I have chosen not to have moh... My girls who Will be 11/12 when i get married came dress shopping along with my mum as she was paying. On the day i will have my girls who are bridesmaids to walk me up aisle and i think they can help with most things apart from doing dress up but that can be dealt with nearer the time... You Will be fine without one...
