Has any one else decided to have no maid of honor or best man?
I don't want any adult bridesmaids as my family is huge and its impossible to chose one without others. I also don't have any close friends so I have opted to go with my 11 year old cousin (only girl that's not my own on mums side), my then to be 5 year old and 10 month old and my 2 year old neice. will also have my 6 year old and 22 month old brothers and my 2 year old son as page boys. Any more will be silly.
My oh also doesn't have any close friends and his family live in Romania. He had asked his brother to be best man but they have now informed us NONE of them will be coming as they cant afford it?? (they will be staying in my house, eating my food, and its 8 months away.... all they need is flights?! ). There's no one in my family he is close to either. He doesn't want to ask just anyone.
Does anyone else not have them?

Loads of ppl don't have a moh- never heard of not having a best man unless you elope - but it's your day so do it how you want to do it- with weddings people always seem to have the expectation that things 'should' be done a certain way- however it's what ever the 2 of you decide you want on your special day :-)

I don't have a MOH, instead I just have 4 equal bridesmaids as I could not choose between them. OH however has 2 best men, but they are his brother and his dad.
I don't think it matters at all. Just have your day how you want it :)

I don't think it matters at all. We are having them but we are also only having one person each so they are automatically MOH and BM. Its your day and you should do what you like with it.

I didn't have any bridesmaids or maid of honour. We just had my father in law as best man.
We aren't having either bridesmaids or ushers etc as we are getting married abroad. Although to be honest, we probably wouldn't have them either if we were doing it at home!

Its so hard, feel like he SHOULD have a best man... but he doesn't want to just chose anyone for the sake of tradition :/
