I really have no idea for any music for the day.... Especially the 1st dance h2b and me have very different music tastes....I know I don't want cheesy or the ones stated in magazines as not really a boy band/celin fan.....me and h2b don't have a song or any thing that is meaning full to us and everything he says is rubbish ie the monster mash!!
How did you lovely ladies decide on what your having for 1st dance, even signing the registar.... Am at a total loss..... Iv got to decide soon as need to audition bands as we want them to sing the song...and h2b needs dance lessons!! Xx

i've asked my cbm to come up with ideas for me entering and the register etc... but my h2b chose the 1st dance song which is bon jovi thank you for loving me i wanted michael buble but was declined fast! lol i've told him he has to dance to it with me at some point in the night tho so fingers crossed i get my way xx
could you ask someone to give you a hand with the music? and just take ur time looking for a 1st dance there is a thread saying what every1 is having maybe get some ideas off there?? xx

Iv looked at that thread and nothing has jumped out at us....I wanted fire house when I look in your eyes but h2b said no 80's spandex rock lol

Exactly what my h2b said jane about my taste he said am not having blinking tiesto or some trance rubbish being blared out.....so instead am nicking some of the lines from my favourite tune for my vows to him lol

we are also having this problem. We've got the ceremony music sorted as we are going traditional with classical music (- I stuck 'classical wedding' in the search of a well known site that sells music in mp3 format & downloaded one of the albums that came up! I then just picked a couplde of songs that thought were best! lol!!)... As for the 1st dance, have a look through the thread on here, there are loads of ideas to help you!! x x x

That's the thing we can't agree.... We've had lots of ideas on car journeys when the radio has been on looking at the thred on here etc but if I say I like it he says no way and same for what he suggests.... Maybe were heading for no 1st dance as our music tastes are so different....

See am a lost cause as I don't like to the point where I get fed up and turn the radio off and drive in silence if I have for got my touch....I really don't like manufactured pop music boy bands x factor dance music for the radio, I am a big big music fan but I like real gutsy music not commercialised manufactured stuff....

As I have stated I have looked at that thread of what people are having.... And to no help.....I'm stuck as I want something different and not the kind of bog standard songs....I was looking for help as to where to look for alternative music ideas or where to find inspiration for music or suggestions of how to shut h2b up and look at it seriously......I never asked what people where having......so it's a different topic all together

i've left that to him, lol. i dont know what our first dance will be, or any of the music in fact. Well actually i know that much, its our favourite finnish bands that not many people know.
poets of the fall- roses. the bridge in its words are beautiful. "Without you, I am nothing at all, and life has the face of a morbid game, with you nothing is impossible, it all seems to fit the frame".
we're chosing something personal to us, they are kind of rock, nice sounding, great riffs and beautiful song lyrics. check em out on youtube. we aren't really mainstream music people. So we love the out the ordinary
