If you want to have one then it looks like you'll have to do it yourself! Or find another friend you can actually trust! x

Hmm, maybe think about what you'd like to do (as in spa day, night on the town, girls night in...) and get them together for a drink and tell them what you want to do for your hen. Would take the pressure of them trying to think of something that you would enjoy.

Also give them a list of who you want there and their contact details. Hopefully from that they'll get the hint that they need to organise it! :0) Good luck.xx

For my hen night my best friend did it for me, it took the pressure off my sister who was my only BM but she did help Kirsty with it, for me it was a really nice way to include Kirsty in the bridal party without her been a BM and on my wedding day, i paid for her hair and make up along with mum and sis, and John mentioned her in the speeches.

It didnt even cross my mind to ask my sister as she didnt actually know a lot of the girls i wanted to invite......

    Good luck!!!

I've asked my best friend, I have two best friends and one is my MOH and the other would hate that job, so I pandered to thier qualities and and by BF is good at organising, then she is in charge of the hen do, It's in two weeks time and to say I'm nervous, is an understatement! But I trust her, so I'm looking forward to it in a good way x

I think if your the sort of person who likes to be in control of things or you don't really have much faith then you are better off doing it yourself, book of face is a really easy way to get an event out there and invite attendees, so it dosent have to be too much hard work.

In saying that I have a touch of ocd when it comes to organisation, no one can really believe that I've given the job away, but to be honest I've so much more stuff to do.

At then end of the day, it's your night and if you want a night to remember, maybe you need to have a but of imput x

I think my friend from work wants to organise mine and shes not a bridesmaid!
My MOH will do something really tacky which i dont want!
My cousin is only 16 so wont be able to go out drinking even though shes my double!
Although my SIL would do something really tasteful, she had a casino night and a meal for hers and she had everyone i black dresses but her who was in white!

Get them all together and talk to them and tell them they need to pull together to organise a hen do, that way, the stress won't fall on just one person's head. So it will make it easier for them all. xx

Do you have any idea about what type of hen do you want? If you do then its best to say to them now rsp if you need to save IE spa day/weekend away and then write a kist of all you want to be asked to come then ask someone else to organise it for you - What about your Mum or MIL2B. I arranged date/place etc for mine then after sorting out who I wanted I have handed mine over to my sister and my daughter so as they are now in charge they can arrange a few surprises.

You're not having much luck with male and female attandants. I read your post re BM. Fingers crossed it all works out.

I agree with the ladies and all get together and maybe organise little bits, then most of the stress will not be on you.

I didn't think my MOH would be as good as she has been. In fact she has been brilliant. She can be a bit ditzy (one of the reasons I love her) but she has gone for it 100% and is doing a fantastic job of rounding my friends up and organising. I would tell them what you want and when you want it and see what hppens, you might be surprised.
