Had our venue confirmation back today, if we get 15 rooms booked for our guests, we get a free top up of wine after the meal. We've already had 16 rooms reserved!! Nice little extra I thought, won't be telling my guests it was free!!

That now takes us to a 3 course meal, wedding cake, 2 glasses of wine, tea/coffee & a glass of bubbly for the speeches. Will that be enough for a 6pm evening UK reception?

We've got a really good deal. To be fair I wouldn't have chosen it otherwise, but things like a traditional wedding cake & all sorts have been thrown in!!
