Hi Jo, welcome to the site and congratulations :)

I would start booking the big things such as DJ/ entertainment, cars, photographer etc, as they are the things that book up quickly.

I am May 2016 and I have started buying a few cheap things each month like decorations, shoes etc to spread out the cost a little bit more :)

    Happy planning! x

Hi Jo, congratulations and welcome! As said above, we booked the 'bigger' things first and the things that were most likely to book up quickly. So we booked DJ, photographer and the harpist after securing our venue. I'd also add transport to this list if you want transport. We then booked a magician a couple of months later.

I'm buying little bits and bobs along the way so I can spread the cost as much as possible. I already have my ring, paid deposit on OH's ring, have my bridesmaids dresses, my shoes and things for our favours and invitations.

If you haven't already, I would sit down and work out a rough budget and see how much you can realistically save every month. x
