    Hey everyone,

    New to this site (and wedding planning all together) So hope i'm posting this in the right place..lol

    We've finally set our date, been engaged for two years but wedding plans have never materialised due to ill health, work commitments etc, buuuut we're finally doing it!! Yay!! Were planning on 9th July 2016 so lots of time to plan.

    I have a feeling i will be spending ALOT of time on this site in the next 23 months :D

    31st October 2015.. Can't wait!!

    Hi Nicola and welcome! I've been engaged to my h2b for 2 and a half years now and we only booked our wedding a couple of months ago. We are June 2016 so your timescales are very similar to ours :)

    This site is fab and everyone on the forum is so friendly and helpful :)

    Heya, Thank you.

    We had a meeting with our venue this week, just waiting for contracts to be drawn up and it'll be official :D

    Not entirely sure on the kind of day as of yet, we will marry in the local church with our close family and friends.. I don't have ANY ideas for the reception yet, all we know is we want a relaxed informal reception with our nearest and dearest.

    How are your plans coming along? x

    31st October 2015.. Can't wait!!

    Nicola, we have our venue booked, caterers come with it, photographer, florist (although just deposit to hold day before final decisions!) also considering bands. Trying to do the bigger things now and then the rest as we go along. Though it would be ages away but really already 8 months down since getting engaged- it will go so quickly.
