hey guys i am planning to get married in july 2013 but i like to be on with the planning now i have a fab venue booked but i really want a new york theme as that were we got engaged and i would like to keep that theme going. But i am not sure on what to do but i like the colour black and white but i not sure? vikki xx

I think it depends on your venue. Have you booked a barn in France or is that another Vikki looking at black and white?

Hi that would be me doing the New York theme in France with Black and White Jilly lol.
There are tons of ideas if you google New York Themed Weddings. We just want a little touch of New York and aren't going over board. So the tables are getting named after places we visited when we were there, we've got NY cheesecake for desert (I fell in love with it when we were there) and we are asking guests to write their messages on New York black and white post cards and peg them to a ribbon.
Would be interested in what you're doing too. Where did he pop the Q?

We're having a black and white New York theme too. with a bit of red. Getting married in Edinburgh Zoo so trying to balance out New York and Zoo themes. (We got engaged in Central Park Zoo).
