I've had a fab day today shopping with my friend.

After breakfast-I asked her if she would be my third bridesmaid and she said yes! I'm so happy.

Now I just need to make sure I buy all the extra bits that she will need. I've been holding off ordering the glasses as well, as I wasn't sure how many we would want. I might wait until after next payday to order them now though and just make sure we have all the things ordered like the dresses and other things which we have already bought for the others.

    Me too :D

Not sure what to do about her dress now, as she said to order her a 16.... but I don't think she'll need that-I might get her to try the 14 on that I already have and if that fits buy another 14, if not then I'll order her the size she wanted... what do you think?

I think she is normally a 14-16 and that's why she wants the bigger size, but I just don't want it being too big on her, I know she can have it taken in if need be.

Get her to try the 14 first as you already have one in that size, if it's a no go, then get the larger one.

As you already have a 14 I would definitely get her to try it on, great news that she said yes.

    Yay! So pleased for you.

Definitely try the 14 as you have it, then you'll know for sure how it fits or if a different size is needed.

Just in a mad rush now to try and get everything sorted that we already have for the other two. I have ordered a necklace which I am praying is the same as the one for the other two-keeping an eye out for jewellery. I will probably send her home with the bridesmaid dress on Tuesday... unless she has time to pop to mine before the gym to try it on with me and then BOOM I can order her dress as well.

The only other things we already have for the other two are candles, but we bought extra so that's fine and a compact mirror-but we have 4 of them as we bought them for mothers as well, so I think we'll give her one of them, order the mothers some others and give the spare one to my sister or Auntie.

No I think she was really shocked.

We were talking about all-sorts before I asked, nothing seemed to lead into it lol. Although at one point we were talking about colours that suited us and she said she thinks purple is a good colour on her (I thought yes get in lol). I sort of had to force in about making sure she helps with favours and the scrap book-then I asked her, but I started with saying ''don't feel like you have to say yes if you don't want to'' so she said she was really worried about what I was going to say then.

I was going to just drop the dress off with her on Tuesday... however, I might suggest she comes round to try it on before we go to the gym... for two reasons

1-I'm probably better off being there to help her get into it rather than her boyfriend
2-I was going to say she could just have the dress if it did fit... but I'm seeing my other bridesmaid this weekend coming up and will want her to try it on, so wouldn't want to risk the new one not being here on time.

Just need to make sure the house looks a little more presentable then it does now then really.

Been too busy with uni lately, the poor house has been neglected.

Just emailed the flower lady to order an extra bouquet and hair piece and the car people to check how many can fit in the larger car as well. Very exciting

Yey! How exciting. I had to order extra stuff too lol, nightmare finding everything but almost got everything sorted. There's a couple of things I might just split from a multipack instead of giving them a pack each. (like a 2pk nail file or something)

Yeah, our candles are in a 6 pack multipack, so we thought we could just split that for them

It's a good idea getting more bits like that as well. Seems like they're getting a little more but isn't too costly

Yeah lol. There's just one thing I can't find the same I think and it's a bathbomb in our colours that I got when I only had two BMs. My OCD is playing cool though and letting me not be that bothered about it and get a slightly different one just still blue! I'm a loony for matching things and stuff lol

Donna if the necklace isn't a perfect match, could you have your maid of honour in a different one? That way it will look as if you've done it deliberately to make her stand out a bit more.

I don't actually have a maid of honour.... but I think they will be a close enough match. Will have to wait and see when they come. I'm sure if they're not exactly the same you won't notice when they're on

I saw a beautiful necklace in town which had been reduced massively, should have been £120 but it was £25. Oh didn't buy me it though :( the big bully.

I said at that price compared to what it should have been I would have bought it for the bridesmaids if they didn't already have necklaces.

Don't worry about matching jewellery, no one will notice. Both my BM's wore very similar but not exactly matching jewellery.

Yeah I can't imagine anyone will notice.

I've ordered two necklaces anyway so she can have the one that matches the closest and then the other one I will give as a little gift to someone else on the day (auntie or sister.)

I'm going to be honest, I'm not going to go crazy over the jewellery anyway. I've bought them as a present for them to wear on the day-but if they don't want to wear them or even if they have something of their own that they would rather wear I'll be happy.
