    Hello everyone!
I am recently engaged about a month and a half now. We have been thinking of 2015 wedding as we need to save. I have tried thinking about money saving ways. I have found a website called ************ and can get my dress made to measure for much cheaper than the shops. This will also apply for bridesmaid and flower girl. We have decided on small number of guests and not many children. Can people recommend any other money saving tips? I have a hairdresser friend, a cake making friend's mother and a singer/songwriter friend for church music.

Thank you Lisa and Marie. I am starting to have a look, I am ever so slightly like Monica off Friends. But I think we need the time to save up for the day and things. Thanks for the tip Lisa. Mo x

Hello! Congrats on the engagement. We had the same idea as you, planning a date far away to save! My advice for venues is that the earlier you book the better offer you will get. We've booked ours and didn't have to pay the full deposit and get 2011 prices as that's when the contract is signed. They're happy with us paying in instalments when we can. It's helped with our budget as we know how much we're spending on the venue already and can then budget everything else around it, such as catering and decorations.
