Ok, so the wedding is about a week away and other than Mum stress I've been completely laid back about everything else. About 4 nights ago OH and I DTD not intending to conceive but from the day after I swear I've been feeling different (the same way I did when I was pregnant before)... as well as other 'symptoms' the biggest one is a fluttery feeling in my belly and I am driving myself crazy waiting until I can test and I have just realised that if we attribute the other stuff to other causes then the fluttering could just be nerves. I don't actually feel nervous and the fluttering doesn't change if I think about the wedding but I guess my subconscious could be on a different page meaning I'll get a BFN when I come to test at the weekend... right?! I really am going crazy here so I would love to hear what you lovely ladies think might be going on with me.

I think it might just be nerves so close to the wedding. I could be wrong tho, xx

It is most likely nerves, the fluttering could not be classed as movements yet, the uterus is too far down in the pelvis to feel this yet. Just enjoy the run up to the wedding, don't do a test until you know your period is late.

Definitely likely to be nerves, I'd wait until you actually miss a period.

I suffer from anxiety attacks when I don't even outwardly feel stressed. Maybe it's a fact of keeping the stress in that gives people discomfort some times?
That said, when I was pregnant my symptoms were almost identical to anxiety attacks!
Is it more of a tummy turn that you might associate with stress? You certainly wouldn't feel movements so early on, even in a second pregnancy.
If you think too much about it and it is stress, you are only going to make it worse, or delay your period or both. So much easier said than done, but please try not to think about it.
its near enough impossible to feel any type of movement after 5 days of conceiving a child, some people don't even know they are pregnant until 8 weeks pregnant, i would say its just nerves and because you think you are, you are getting phantom symptoms thats quite common!

I agree I definitely think it's nerves. I didn't feel any movement in both my pregnancys until about 20 weeks. I know everyone's different. I don't think a pregnancy test would pick it up this soon. Xx

Thanks for the reassurance ladies - I can still get drunk at my wedding now!! The fluttering feeling has turned into full on cramps which I don't normally get so I now feel really sorry for those of you who get period pain! Just wish my body would settle and be as calm as I think I am... I'm normally completely in tune with my body so this has really freaked me out.

What stage of your cycle are you? You could be experiencing ovulating pains.

I'm past ovulation - I only get ovulation pains on one side. Ovulation was last week and period is due next week.

maybe take a test just to be on the safe side, so wait a few more days so about 7 days after you think you conceived and get a first response test, they can tell you if you are only 1 week pregnant even before you miss your period xx

I felt like I was pregnant after two weeks with sore boobs and knew I was, but waited til 4 weeks to do a test which came back obviously positive and we're 18 weeks now. i didn't know before those two weeks though as physically there's not anything there?? If I were you I wouldn't pay stupid money for a early indication test, I think it could be nerves.and tbh ppl drink before finding out they're pregnant all the time, I'm pretty sure I would have at some point so I'd get your wedding over with then if you get any stronger feelings you could be,then do a test xx

Also if you're due your period, it could also be that that's making you feel a bit different, hormones can drive you all over the place especially with your wedding so close x

the early indication tests are the same price as a clear blue for one in superdrug its £8, thats not stupid money to put your mind at ease especially if you are going on a honeymoon after your wedding- buying a test in a foreign country would be stupid money and at least you would know in advance if you can have some bubbly on the flight xx
