Hey Ladies....I've had countless sleepness nights and I am worried about how we are going to afford to pay for everything...I wish I didn't have these worries as on top of this James's father has terminal lung cancer and I'm feeling like such a b!tch for moaning about the wedding stuff. We have to find 5k by August 20th and yesterday my parents said they will help us..but they've done so much already I feel bad taking more money from them. Sorry ladies I feel a bit better now I've got some words down :)

If your parents have offered to help then why don't you tak their generous offer as it may help you relax a little especially when you have so much more on your mind at the moment. You could offer to pay it back after the wedding or something so it doesn't feel like you are taking it as much. Chris's parents gave us a cheque when we first booked the wedding and we felt really bad taking it but they explained that the wedding day in some ways is as much for the family as it is the bride and groom (luckily they think that but have not been bossy and telling us what to do in terms of the day just gave us the money to put to whatever we need to).
Don't worry though as everything will come together in the end x

Personally I would take the offer of help hon but I would insist I pay it back. My mum has bought my dress and my future FIL said he will put some money to the wedding. We need all the help we can get hon, they are not cheap lol

Sorry to hear about your FIL. Will keep you in my thoughts xxxxx

Take the money and run girl lol, i wish my parents would help towards mine. Bring back traditions i say :) Sorry to hear about your father in law but a wedding would be a good thing for him to look forward to. A day for him to have fun on and forget about his illness. They say that laughter is the best medicine.
