    Hey folks :).
    Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of advice. My symptoms are sore nipples, feeling nausea in the morning and also at night (but not actually being sick), occasionally sore back, last period was 25th June (lasted 1week), feeling more hungry and urinating alot more. I have taken a clearblue test and was negative and also a couple of cheap ones of internet- also negative. My husband and i have been trying to conceive for just over 1 year now and a few months ago thought we were pregnant but worked out we were not. Is it possible i could be this time or could it be in my head as we are wanting a child. Any advice much appreciated.

If you want it badly, the stress could put pregnancy symptoms in your head and put your period off.
You need to get checked by your Dr, as it could be a variety of things.
I think it's unusual for so many tests to be negative, unless you've not given it enough time.
    Def get checked.
I believe after a year of TTC your Dr should offer you both tests to check your both healthy and in full working order also, so ask about that if it is negative.
Hopefully won't be long to the tiny pitter patter of feet grace your home :)
    xx

SNAP! 6 days late now no positive and no period! I've been to the docs this afternoon and they said blood tests don't make a difference, they want a sample from me and they will send it to the lab.

I've had sore boobs, sickness, tiredness, weird smells, cramps, brown discharge stuff all sorts and its all turned out negative so far! bloody fed up now!

I know how you feel - I was 7 weeks late and had lots of symptoms although all tests were negative. It turns out it was the stress that had stopped it. The GP told me to relax and stop thinking about it and sure enough he was right even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Hope you get sorted and it is all positive. x

Hey girlies, a blood test can actually pick up on the HCg earlier, but only a few days earlier than it would on a pregnancy test. Its a bit weird they would say it "wouldnt make a difference", as they usually use the blood test with the urine sample to confirm a pregnancy. Usually the blood is sent to the lab, and urine is tested in house. Good luck to you all though, we have been TTC for a year and a half, with no luck!

As far as I'm aware the back ache is later in pregnancy... from the weight...

I've had these symptoms before right before a really heavy period... normally when ive been starving too and over eating always makes it worse...

    Probably just hormones!

The backache can actually start in early pregnancy, although it could be a sign of anything else as well. Early in pregnancy aching in your back/lower stomach is your bodies way of adapting to the next few months/growing baby.

I suffered back ache in early pregnancy, sore boobs was my earliest sign, and had leakage really early on too. Ended up in hospital at 16 weeks due to a mixture of hyperemisis, and hyperpromisis.
Now 5 months after giving birth, i'm undergoing physio to strengthen my back, and have been told my back pain will get worse with every pregnancy i plan to have.
Everyone has different symptoms, so i son't think you can just say only in later pregnancy.
Everyone is different. Pregnancy isn't textbook. Look at those woman who can go through the full term not knowing, still having periods then pop out a baby on the toilet haha.

As i said before, speak to your Dr. I wish you the best of luck!

I agree with what the other's have said, have a chat with your doctor, I had the same a few months ago but I was worried I was pregnant (we were a bit silly and I had to take morning after pill) I love my babies but am happy with the 2 I have, anyway turned out I didn't come on, and had other symptoms because I was worried xx

Good luck for tomorrow. We were trying for about 6 months before I got pregnant - and I haven't actually had any sickness either, just the nausea. When I did my tests, the line was very feint to start with (got a clearer result with the digital one that tells you how far you are).
