I havn't decided yet which colours to have for my wedding. Its a winter wedding but I def dont want light blue. The colours I had in mind were either a dark purple or like a cappuccino colour but I can't seem to get many good pics online so would love to see some pics from the girls on here and any other colour suggestions would be appreciated aswell :) xxx

Just because its a winter wedding doesnt mean christmas colours its still your choice.

why not look at room dressers and see what colours they have that you like and bridal shops at colours of dresses. just because you had a looksee doesnt mean you have to go to them

Just because you can't find pictures on google doesn't make it a bad choice, it just makes it unique!

If you're not sure about whether your colours will actually work together, pop into a DIY store and start pulling out the paint sample strips. It's a great way to pick shades and mix and match to see what goes together!

what about silver or gold or a colour that represents new year as you could add purple to that too

I'm still trying to decide between gold/champagne or navy and silver. I'm also having winter wedding and feel light blue is too cold, but the navy and silver look is really pretty.

I think you have to think about the colours you really like. It doesn't matter if it's a "popular" colour or not because it's your day and i personally think it should be a colour scheme that is important and meaningful to you. Purple's a really nice rich winter colour :-)

samantha, my sis is selling her bridesmaid dresses on ebay and they r a lovely brown cappucino colour, she bought them from a site for over 100 pounds each, dont know if the site is still around or not though, she used ivory to complement the brown x

we are having shades of brown with burnt orange and ivory. It doesn't sound that great but it honestly looks beautiful all together and its quite unique. :)
