We are getting married at 4.00 so we will only need to cater one meal (to save a bit of money)

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

4pm is a lot later than you wanted, what were you planning to do in the extra time? if it was for photo's etc then i would ask your photographer how much time is needed coz 4pm is pushing it a little i think but depends how much you have to fit in! Is the 18th June a special date? if its an anniversary or something you could move the wedding forward then be on honeymoon for the anniversary xx

hey welcome! If youve got your heart set on 1/2pm then change the date if you havent picked that one for any reason. If you had a 4pm wedding it may work out cheaper because then you could probably get away with not having the sit down meal and having a buffet in its place?x

I think the day would be too short at 4:00, I hit married at 1:pm 2nd time around (and 3pm first time, this felt too short a day)!!!

You see I'm experienced at weddings lol

welcome to this wonderful website dux x

thanks to all you that offered ur advice-much appreciated (sp?) x i thought about it quite a bit in work and decided to stick with 4pm on 18th june 2011. i havent got a massive budget so in a way it saves on having a wedding breakfast and just having a buffet instead.
i havent chosen the date for any special reason- was aware that the decleration of marriage only lasts 12 months got our appt on 21st of this month. im getting quite excited now bout things- brought my garter, tiara and invitations so slowly getting things sorted.xx
