Hi all, I'm looking at transportation and wanted to know whats the best thing todo or if it matters at al.

I live about 30/45 mins away from our venue and didnt know whether it was better to book the car from the area im getting married or from where i live.

Just wondered if yo have had this dilemma and if it affects the costs at all, or if theres no difference.

I hope that makes sense :s thanks all. xx

    Hi
I'm in a similar position, the Church is a good 45-50mins drive from where we live then the reception venue is 15mins from the Church. We've booked two cars local to where we live so it's easy for them to pick me up from my parents, we're lucky they actually know both our Church and reception venue :D
I'm not sure whether there are any price differences where you book from but I guess if they do it on mileage and time (which I think most do) I don't think it'll make much difference as it'll be the same mileage either way.
    xx

It shouldn't make too much of a difference in cost as to where you book the cars to pick you up from...I know most charge by the hour or for 2 hours...our car company have a set price for 3 hours..no matter where they pick you up from. I'm getting picked up almost 20 miles from our venue as h2b is staying at the venue the night before and I'm leaving from my mams. Anyway the car is going to wait until our ceremony and photos are done and take me and Paul out for a drive as he wont have been in the car until that point..and this was all in with the original price.x
