I am going to sound stupid as i have been on this site for a while now, and never thought about asking this question before.

Do you have to have a "Wedding Breakfast" and a "Evening Reception," and if so what is the difference between them both, as i am going to be celebrating two things on one day and need the feedback on what is which?

Wedding Breakfast is the sit down meal had after the ceremony, and evening reception is the evening do. You don't have to have both though if you don't want to xx

Normally you only have the guests invited to the ceremony to the wedding breakfast, and then everyone else comes to the evening reception which usually starts around 7/7.30pm xx

The wedding breakfast is the first meal you have as husband and wife - this is where the speeches happen and thank you gifts are given, etc. The evening reception usually includes the cake cutting, dancing, and the evening buffet. Day guests generally attend the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. Evening guests attend the evening reception only.
    I hope this makes sense.

I meant to have i now understand ;)

As i be celebrating my birthday on the same day, i am planning to have the wedding at 3pm, then photos, then i might as well have the wedding breakfast / evening reception together as we are all going for meal in evening to celebrate my birthday.
