I have an easel to show off a sign I had made ( look in diy album in photos) and the sign looks silly on the easel as its too small, but it can't afford to buy a larger size print. Any ideas how I can make it look better? I am guna paint the easel white and maybe have it rustic looking but need to somehow lmake the sign surface larger without enlarging the actual size :/ any ideas please ladies. Its really bugging me x

Could you maybe mount the sign onto a larger piece of card? Xx

Could you not back it onto some MDF and either paint/wall paper/coat it then stick the print onto that so it acts as a sort of border?

I was going to suggest the same as Debbie, get a larger piece of card and maybe decorate around the edge with something.

Also how about decorating the actual easel to make it part of the feature. maybe somehow wrap some ribbons round in your wedding colours or find a way to maybe attach some flowers to the easel so it stands out x
A larger piece of card or a canvas board to mount it on to? My Mum and Stepdad bought a big canvas board for our seating plan really cheap from Th3 W0rks. You could decorate the easel with bunting too

Loving the mdf idea do you think turning it into looking like a frame would look ok? Or would buying a photoframe look better? I don't like fake flowers but could try putting real ones on it or maybe flowers on the boarder itself?

Only thing is, you don't want it to be too busy or it will swallow it.

That's true. Oh has offered to make the frame and I'm contemplating buying some decorative moulds to go on it to make it look more like a frame. It struggling to picture it at the moment, not sure whether to buy them as want to reduce the costs, so I know there a thing about doing the decorative in glue and painting it. So not sure if to do that instead :/

How about raising it from the background/frame you use. Does that make sense? That might make it stick out more.
