Hi everyone, I'm looking into having our wedding at alnwick castle. Just wondering if anyone has been or knows anyone who's recently got married there and which bit (treehouse, inside the castle or greenhouse) I'm liking the look of the greenhouse I think it's beautiful with full Windows and the gardens all around but not sure.... Help pleease. P.s if anyone knows any other castles that hold wedding ceremonies please let me know xx

I haven't been to a wedding there but visited it a few years ago, it is absolutely beautiful.
I think I would have it in the castle just because the history and the beautiful rooms would be stunning and definitely something to remember. Having said that though from what I remember the greenhouse looked like the perfect wedding venue, the views would be beautiful and it would be gorgeous in summer (not sure what your wedding is). I think it would depend on the theme or type of wedding you would like though x
Got together on 14th March 2010

I've never been to this place (or heard of it to be honest) but I'm getting married at wentworth castle... i can't actually get married in the castle part but instead am getting married in the conservatory which is full of windows and with beautiful gardens so sounds similar to yours if its stunning go for it xx

Wow that's brilliant. Can feel a HP theme coming onl
Is there anyway you could use all of the bits, like one for the ceremony, one for canapés ect.

I visited Alnwick Castle over ten years ago and it was beautiful. You definately have the pick of where to have the ceremony. Good luck picking :)

At first I thought houses, but seeing as only four, then thought spells would be a good one rather than characters, some poor peeps would end up on voldermort's table.
