I am getting married in the hotel and will be walking down the aisle to A Moment Like This by Leona Lewis. And our first dance is You're Still The One by Shania Twain. I have been very picky when choosing wedding music as i like the lyrics to mean something and fit with the occassion, this has been pretty hard though considering ive had to choose 5 songs for ceremony, first dance and 6 songs for vid, but i got there in the end!! I'm having a civil ceremony and my other half was thinking of my walking down the ailse to Van Morrisons have I told you that I love you, but that will have to be ok'd with the registrar as I think there's mention of God and Heaven once in there. I've heard some registrar's are ok with this but some not!
For our first dance we both like heavy/rock music so were having Metallica's Nothing Else Matters x

How many songs altogether do you need for ceremony?? Is it 1. for walking in 2. for signing register and 3. for walkign out?? xx

i think all registrars are different but ours told us 1 for bride walking in 3 for signing register as it takes time with pics etc being taken and 1 for leaving ceremony x

I've been told that whatever songs we pick we need to print the lyrics out for when we see the registrar to make sure they're ok. Has anyone had to do this?

we are having air on the g string performed by isao tomita for the guests whilst they are waiting, i am walking down the aisle to pachelbels canon in d major, again performed by isao tomita....we are signing the register to bryan adams ill always be right there, walking back up the aisle to gravity by embrace, and our first dance at reception is bryan adams please forgive me..... x x

I'm having 'A moment like this' The kelly clarkson version cos I don't really like leona's warbly voice but love the song!x

I just used to love it on the Sandals advert. lol. can't find that version tho so Kelly will have to do!

Don't know what to walk out too. may just shuffle the ipod! might get something really odd though.lol
