We are thinking of going to Scotland on honeymoon but would like to take our husky with us. Can anyone recommend any dog friendly places such as caravan parks or log cabins etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

ooh, brilliant question!! i'm afraid i've only just moved to scotland so while i know of one or two pubs around dumfries and galloway that allow dogs, that probably isn't much help!! but i was given a book this christmas listing and detailing hotels, b&bs etc that allow dogs? and i'm going to a hen weekend in pitlochry which involves renting out a log cabin type thing so could look into something like that maybe?

If you google 'log cabins in scotland' it should bring up a few websites with log cabins, and the will say if they have hot tubs, if youre allowed pets etc :) x

If I remember rightly on the dogs trust website they have a search facility for dog friendly rental cottages. Might be worth a look. xx
