Ok the short story is : the photobooth company I had booked changed the invoice and removed some items off it - when queried I was told that this was correct as there was some miss comunication at the time of booking and that I wouldn't get everything I was verbally sold at the wedding fair I went to. I asked him to compromise and sent him an email sayingI felt I'd been 'done over' (not in those words) and could we arrange somethig within the budget. He called me tonight to offer me my deposit back.! Now I'm happy I can get the full amount back - BUT- I have 2 and a half weeks to go and need to have a think about entertainment very quickly. My first thought is to use a different photobooth company (if my date is available) But then other half said - we could change the entertainment ? what do you ladies think ? I've got tunnel vision and can't think of anything to have to entertain my guests between the meal and party I was hoping to run something into the evening a bit so 6pm - 9pm maybe...
Sorry for the epic post PLEASE HELP Z xxxxxx

It cant hurt to give other photobooth companies a go - or could you set up your own one - get some cheap props and do it yourself - im sure there are a few people on here that are doing that If not could you get some giant games - giant jenga can be used indoors
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

can't remember what it's called but what about one of those artists that draws people as cartoons? good luck!

If you've got a couple of bridesmaids then you could get them to do some shifts with a polaroid camera and some props. Get a guest book and your guests can write a message next to a funky picture of themselves. x

you might be able to get a different company to do it cheaper now its last minute? try looking for one on the "Tree of Gum"? i went on the other day and was surprised at how cheap they were compared to the wedding fair i saw some at. failing that, make a DIY booth, another lady on here mentioned setting up a screen and hiring a camera and tripod to take the photos? ive seen some cool pics done where people have brought props and fancy dress items with them!
good luck!

p.s. i looked into hiring eequipment, cameras can be expensive but if you have one then a tripod can be as cheap as £3 per day!

DIY one or like someone said above see if your photographer can do you one?
Our entertainment is a trio for the guests coming in, service and meal. Then while we are having photos and going into the evening we have a caricturist and in the evening we are doing a diy photo corner! :-)

Thanks for all the brilliant advice ladies xxx I ended up phoning my mum and we split up the entire day on paper in minutes and found we only had about an hour spare and I have chinese lanterns... we agreed that I should buy some nice markers and get people to write their wishes on them and that should take some time and we save about £600 :D yey xx Again , thanks for the suggestions xx
