Had a mock run of having my mum help me put on the dress, all the bits and bobs etc. Got real serious butterflies now! Really chuffed with how it looks, was feeling a bit fat and frumpy.

Had a major fall out with h2b in a car park, nerves are getting the better of me and I've been snappy/grumpy for weeks but this was stupid and over nothing. Made up and got all the cards for the bm's, flowergirl, pageboy, best man and wrapping paper for the flip-flop box that we will put out at the disco for those with sore tootsies.

Mil2b was going off on one mega stressed on Thursday about the sugar flowers that her friend was doing for our cake, I was just waiting on the woman calling me but mil2b as per usual, trying to get me stressed. 10 mins later (prob prompted by her) the woman called me to say they were ready. Picked up today and not as nice as I thought/hoped they will be. Expected full headed roses and they are more like a wee posy of tiny flowers! Will make the most of them as nowt else I can do.

Pressies wrapped and ready for the bm's etc. A bity panicky about how we are going to pay for my nails to be done on friday as i've got about 89p in my account lol.

Aww thanks everyone! When we set the date, which had a few false starts (was supposed to be 1/10/11 but hotel messed it up so had to give us the peak time date we originally wanted at the off peak price lol) I painstakingly marked the amount of weeks to go manually into my outlook diary in work, and my paper diary at home. It was 72 weeks. Seems like a million years ago now!

No matter what goes wrong on the lead up to and including the day, so long as we both turn up I will be happy. H2b's dad has just been sent to the hospital this morning, he doesn't generally keep too good but I could've hedged my bets that this would happen probably closer to the wedding and one of his uncle's dads has taken a turn for the worse so the aunt, uncle and both cousins may miss the day if he doesn't improve in the next 24hrs. Sod's law that things go wrong but I just hope they are both ok and that everyone we wanted to be is there.

I'm off to peek at the "this weeks brides" aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhh! hahaha. Luckily I am working right up until thursday so not got much time to be faffing about or worrying.

Phew! H2b's dad is fine. Has an infection, had been having pains in his side for nearly 2 months and not seen the doctor about it which has really upset h2b as his dad has had several heart attacks, bypass and a stroke. Turns out the infection has spread to his man bits so he couldn't walk and was unable to distinguish between the pain he was experiencing and an angina attack. The hospital has given him 3 weeks of antibiotics and a jockstrap! Thank god he is ok!

Kat, thank you so much! I really appreciate the offer, it was a family friend that has done them. I'd hate to offend her but I did tell her like a million times, sent her pics etc. I'm so chuffed you offered, really cheered me up :-D but I will pass. I'll make the most of it, these things are sent to try us and whilst they aren't exaclty what I wanted but are still quite nice. Besides, I've no pennies left lol!

H2b, poor wee lamb, it's his birthday today and he ran his dad to the hospital, forgot to put his dad's blue badge in the window because some child ran out infront of his car and the mother started screaming at h2b about how stupid he is. Cos he's always at the hospital for himself, I know that he would've been doing like 5mph at the most (always has) so he got a bit upset and screamed back at her that she should've had hold of her childs hand. So her forgot to put the badge up and got a ticket. Oops!

As I said, I could've put money on things like this happening. Won't let any of it get to me, at the end of it all, everything that can go wrong will go wrong and there is nothing I can do that will stop these things happening.

    Thanks everyone xx

You could say it was on display the guy gave you the ticket must not have seen and just give them the blue badge details, might work if not gives you a little extra time to pay it xxx

monkey, he did and they guy said they had to fill out forms etc so not worried about it but sods law!

Rachel, totally! It is weirder than I anticipated but so exciting. I think (please god!) I've got everything down, everyone kept telling me at the beginning I was too organised which is why I am sitting here thinking have I forgotten anything!

Although I have like a chief bridesmaid of sorts (I've got both sisters as bm's) I just got them bm cards, a flower girl card etc all out of clinton cards. Not cheap! They only had 1 pb card which was really an adult card and totally inappropriate (real pic of wedding rings) so just got him a wee thank u card with a teddy bear on it and wrote inside in calligraphy inside all the bits and bobs. I spent £30 on cards (!) which is huge! I did get one for h2b to get his mum to give him on the morning of the wedding which was really nice. I think you can get them on the likes of moonpig if you can be bothered but I don't trust them this late on which is why I went to the robbing card shop lol.

Omg, date twins, haha! I seem to be quite patient with some things and then fly off the handle at others. thought I'd have no nails left by now but don't really have the time to think about but when I get that odd minute, I get such butterflies!

Still having trouble sleeping and that's with the help of some wine! Got a massive 4 hours so feeling a bit peeved!

H2b's uncle's dad passed away yesterday afternoon so his Aunt and Uncle are away to ireland to deal with the funeral and have no way of getting back for saturday. Very sad for them :-(

It was my dad's birthday yesterday and without really thinking about how busy we would be, I'd agreed to drive my mum n dad to a restaurant about 30mins from their home, mad rush for me and h2b after work. Mum was treating dad to a michelen star dinner and we ended up being invited! Nice surprise but we go so involved in talking/eating/drinking that we didn't get home till nearly midnight and meant I didn't get a chance to do any of what I'd planned. :-/ probably why i'm not sleeping cos I'm worried I will miss something!

Got all the stuff ready to take to the hotel tonight which is really exciting but we don't seem to have enough hours in the day. H2b is cancelling the golf simulator thing he was planning on friday (really cool pub in glasgow owned by a friend of a friend) and I'll drive when I get my nails done to avoid any stress. Was planning on stalking brangelina after some french martinis in the city centre where they are filming world war z or something like that but will have to pass on it to get everything done.

Right off to do some housework at nearly 5am, must be keen lol

Oh Carrie, so sorry to hear about your h2bs uncles dad and that also your aunt and uncle wont be able to make Saturday, very sad in deed.
I was up at 4.30am but then mine was for a different reason - h2b had to leave for work just before 5 yuck!! no idea why but never been able to go back to bed once he has gone!!
Was thinking of doing housework but not sure my girls would agree - id probably get an ear bashing for waking them up lol.
Oh how exciting only 3 days to go for you till your big day - does it seem real now that you have all the stuff to get to the hotel?
Anyways hope you dont get to carried away with your housework and make sone time for yourself! xx
