I cannot believe i have been on here nearly 3 years (21st Feb 2010) & It felt like i'd be waiting forever to get married! Now I am 3 weeks and 1 day away from giving notice! :)



Ok so what i have sorted so far (baring in mind that most still needs deposits or buying) x

Only 1 week & 2 days until we book to give notice!!! excited and nervous :-)

Planning has been on hold for a little while pending some good news but also some sad, my Mil was diagnosed with leukaemia a few months before xmas & has been very up n down in health since it began, more resently getting an infection which left her in a critical state, finally moved her to the hospital that was giving her the treatment for it & found out they were the cause for her getting infection as put her lines in wrong! but hopefully things get better for her, well everyday i keep my fingers crossed and pray xx

You seem to have loads done already hun!! Sorry to hear about your MIL, fingers crossed as well.

Due to Mil being so unwell with illness mentioned above and now having blood poisioning on top of that, my H2b wants to be there for his dad an mum an help financially (siblings are doing the same also) After a long discussion we have decided to put our wedding back to 2015 but as my H2b wanted to keep the same date but on a saturday we realised our new date will be Valentines day :-) Just waiting to hear from venue to be sure that they can book us in for that date and also transfer any money we have so far paid to the new date (which luckily isnt alot) so despite having planned so much already we're just gonna pay off little bits at a time so as less to pay further down the line

Thank you, yea thats what i thought its so lovely to wanna help them out when they are going through such a difficult time at the moment, and that was part of the reason he wanted to postpone we needed more time to save as he wants us to have a beautiful day, plus may be moving into a new home soon an it badly needs to be decorated xx

Been MIA for a while as had alot going on. Update so far...... We have finally moved into a new home (from a flat to a house) been here 3 weeks now and it still feels a little unreal! lol just trying to get it all sorted as it is in major need of decorating, one day at a time though lol and was surprised because my H2b decided that he wanted to give up his tenancy (at flat) it was a surprise because he had said he was going to keep his flat as a just in case (things didnt work out with his ex all those years ago and was obviously worried it would happen again, despite me telling him i loved him) so it goes to show he loves me and is willing to trust me and trust in our future :D... And at the moment things are looking really well with his mum, she is home so just hoping she don't fall ill again and starts recovering properly :D
Plans have been on hold for a while though as just havent been in the right frame of mind but hoping to be back in the swing of things soon xx

Well a few hiccups to say the least but I am not going to let it get to me, still the list above to sort but just taking one day at a time, although aim to sort as much as possible I'm still praying for a stress free day lol we can all but dream hehe
Just glad I am using ukbride more than before as its been helpful & the ladies great, Well done to all the team who created this website and those who help run it

Well I thought everything was going well until I went on to my bay of e account and 6 very important items I was watching have ended and not been relisted including my H2b' s suit! Looks as though seller hasn't had anything for sale since Oct last year! Can anything else go wrong?!
