Today we begin the rest of our life
Together forever as husband and wife.
Our dreams came true, with love and more—
Adventures to have and the world to explore.

But the one in it brought a tear to my eye so had to use it hehehe

Not getting married in a church so thought it would be nice!
Ive got something else planned that I stole from a group on fb for the evening guests hehehe

I'll see if I can find a picture if not I'll pop a link on my wall, but basically it's a timetable poster that I'm going to put where the table plan was for the meal! As the evening guests wont have the orders I thought it would be nice if they knew what was going on.

Ok I put this in the wrong thread a min ago lol so here goes again

Ive always said a garter is not for me BUT I found a lady on fb who hand makes them and one she did in champagne with pearls was STUNNING! So Ive been talking to her and somehow Ive designed one with her for me lol
what do I get myself into lol
Anyway this is the lace, which is 3 layers with little pearls on. Then the brooch is one I actually found awhile ago and wanted for my stationary but worked out too expensive so I got a bigger one for my cake instead and now one of them will be on my garter as well :-) Really excited now and cant wait to see the finished product hehehe

Ok the mens turn

After trying to decide for AGES between weather to wear a kilt or a suit hes FINALLY decided............PHEW LOL
Anyway this is the suit hes choosen in black but he wants plain trousers rather then pinstripe as he doesnt like them FAIR ENOUGH!!!

Ive got him a button hole to match my bouquet, red socks saying groom and cuff links that I had made using a picture of a rose!
He then will have a ivory swirl waitcoat
And a red cravet and hankerchief to match me.
Ive also got him a pearl cravet pin as part of his present!

The rest of the men will be in the same suit and swirl colour waistcoat and they will also have red socks and the cufflinks as part of their presents!
Their cravets and hankerchiefs will be black to match the bridesmaids and their buttonholes will be ivory to match the bridesmaids bouquets.
And they will all have black shoes lol

Phew that was hard work lol Only took him 6 MONTHS to decide lol

ANYWHO the lady making my garter has just posted some "in progress pics" on FB and I am in love already hehehe
Shes used a different lace for the top layer as she didnt like how it looked lol but I think this is STUNNING!!!!
Cant wait for to get the brooch as it will set it off BEAUTIFULLY!

Well the brooch came today so my garter is now finished and OMG I LOVEEEEEEEE IT!!!

Annekac - I have a built up a great network of businesses which is really handy planning my own wedding ;-)

Krissy - I was dead set against having a garter until I came across her, her work is AMAZING!! you wont be dissapointed!
I might get her to work on a matching ring pillow hehehe (I have a choice of 3 so not sure yet)
(this is the option from her, it will have the black lace with the beaded ivory lace on my garter on the top then the same brooch as the garter on it as well)

Natasha - thats because its BEAUTIFUL and mine allllllllll mine mwahahahahaha

Sweet buffet bags
They are 6 cm by 8.5 cm big
The sweet/dessert buffet is being used as the reception dessert so most will be eaten on site but these are just in case ppl want to take them home which is why they are not too big.
They will have black lace attached to them with little heart tags saying "love is sweet"


What do you think???? Too small??

LOVE the bags Hails, where did you find them? We're having a sweet buffet too but I am unsure of using those paper bags and those above are lovely!

Also love the memory box for the mums, how sweet :) I think if u can find the hankies in your wedding colours then it's another memory for them of your wedding, but if not the above are lovely too and if they're to be embroidered they'll look lush!

Found these GORJUS bookmarks and as they have a touch of vintage about them and all my bridesmaids LOVE reading I MUST get them some (and one for me ;-)) for their gift bags hehehe


She also does these which I think are cute so Ive asked her to make them into little thank you booklets for the bridesmaids and mums instead of the normal cards

Wow! That cake sounds AMAZING!!!! Making my mouth water just thinking about it!!

My parcel included 10 sets of these for the top table to go on black personilised napkins and wine glasses



And 60 of both in black for the guests tables to go on white napkins


She's double wrapped them and advised me not to open so the silver charms dont discolour as the wedding is so far away so I will try to get pictures of them through the packaging for you to see :-)
