Ok since Ive started palnning my wedding seems to be getting more n more vintagey so although the first invites I found were lovely and were exactly what I wanted they no longer fitted my wedding so i kept my eyes open for more and have got a few samples from other places as well. I then came across some that were lovely but not in my colours so I asked her if she could do my colours and well yourve seen the table name she for
BLACK LACE TABLE NAME.jpg
And that was it I have now found the ideal ones so shes now done a few more bits in the range this is the normal invite and a postcard invite in the same range
vintage black lace.jpg
But I asked her to do me a sample of a pocketfold invite as will suit my needs better so here it is
vintage black lace pocket.jpg
but Im not keen on the words wedding invite......its a bit obvious lol sorry so shes going to do our names on them instead like this
how I want the front tho.jpg
And she will do me table tabs to match the table names so I can put them on my mirror, order of service and menus will also match Happy happy happy

For the evening invite would you keep it simple and have the postcard invites or go with the normal card type invite??

A brief history of our venue and surrounding area
BARNSDALE LODGE Originally a 17th century farmhouse on the Exton Estate, home to the Noel family (Earl of Gainsborough) for generations at the head of a horse chestnut tree-lined avenue, Barnsdale Lodge hotel is now a superb 44 bedroom hotel and restaurant. Situated in its own graceful and tranquil gardens on the glorious north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is built in local mellow Rutland stone, quarried from the adjacent estate of the Earl of Gainsborough. With its gentle undulating fields and spectacular views of the lake, it is one of England's hidden treasures.

OAKHAM Oakham is a pretty, traditional English market town, bustling with activity and current holder of a coveted Britain in Bloom award. Packed with heritage, there’s plenty to see in Oakham which makes it ideal for a day trip or short break in the UK; Rutland County Museum is a great place to start, displaying the fascinating history of the town together with unusual exhibits including a set of gallows!
history page - oakham.jpg
RUTLAND Rutland is an idyllic rural destination offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While being a relatively hidden gem, Rutland is convenient to reach from all directions as it is situated in the heart of the East Midlands, making it the ideal location for short breaks in the UK Quietly nestling in the quiet English countryside, England’s smallest county has much to share with you; not least, fantastic Rutland Water, an array of unspoilt villages and two attractive market towns packed with charm. Rich in history and full of character, come and discover the delights of this special place; where you will receive a warm welcome and be enchanted by a decidedly English way of life. Rutland offers a taste of traditional England, undiscovered by many and treasured by a lucky few.
The origin of the name Rutland is controversial and hotly debated. Some say it is named after a local landowner called Rota who owned a large estate in the area. Others say that the name stems from the rich red colour of the soil which is found here, and that, over time the name became Rutland. Unfortunately, it looks set to remain a mystery, as there is no conclusive evidence to prove one story or the other.
From 1974 until 1997, Rutland was part of Leicestershire. However it is now a proudly independent county and in 2007 celebrated a decade of independence. To this day, Rutland remains one of the most charming, proud and attractive rural counties in England.

Let me just say to all, Thank You!
It's very hard to describe And not enough words to express. But give us just a minute and we'll try to do our best.
Thank You is just two words But it can mean a thousand things. But as ____ and I move forward We are learning all its great meanings.
We learned what it meant and still learning along the way. But looking at all your faces, We find the words of Thanks to say.
Thanks to all our friends, who helped to keep us sane. Thanks to all our family, for helping us once again.
Thank you for your voices, for letting us hear your songs. Thank you for you support, and helping us to be strong.
Thank you for your wisdom, it has helped in many ways. Thank you for your love, it has helped us to see this day.
So you see, Thanks is not just a word that?s said. Thanks is a love and a feeling. That enters our heart and sticks in our head.
Thanks for helping us find the words to say, And thanks for helping us to live this ever lasting day
