You have to tell your photographer to get a shot of your guests faces when they see it!!
So talented! Can you take the flowers out easily? Maybe take a pic of both options when it's finished and you can compare :) xx

this is the cake so far without spacers....

another 9 inch tier for tier 5 thats in the process of being done today and then a 4 or 5 inch cake stand that hubby is at b&q now getting the various bits he needs for it thats getting covered in gold with gold fabric swags

so i have no idea height wise weather to leave spacers out or not ......

yep i like both as well lol i know that no help at all what about just having one lot or spacers and flowers but im not sure what that would work out like but i love both xxx

i like it without spacers, though either way it looks great

umm cake there goes the diet lol

h2b says it looks like a nasa rocket .... ill flipping throw it at him.... although may need a fork lift truck as its blooming heavy as espec the last tier ...

Your cake, as others have said, is just amazing! I love it better with the flower spacers you have but it also looks pretty cool without too. I have read your whole thread and I am just amazed at what you have done.

No one at your wedding will know any different and you get the cake of your dreams, its a fantastic idea, puts my cake to shame now!!! I am only having a small 3tier cake, in fact i do not know whether it is a square or circle as i wasnt fussed on a cake but mother in law and my mum was so I have left it to them!! All i know it is three teir, plain white with ribbon i have chosen for the invites round i.

Once again WOW, loving the birdcage too.

we love it either way but both Honest John and I prefer it without the flowers...we think! It will depend on the bottom tier and the final flourish of pearls!

I actually think with the flower spacers gives it more of the wow factor and I personally think it looks more vintagey!

But either way looks stunning and with out them you can see more of the finer details...........but you'll be able to see those up close and on photos anyway hopefully!
