Have decided to make my own vintage side tiara as the one i fell in love with was £400! lol! I bought two old brooches from an antiques shop and i have used crystals on the headband and the little pearls are real. Will add a picture in my album if anyone fancies a look :-). My hands are now killing me! xx

Thank you :-) I think it cost me around the £55 mark, but thats because i used real pearls and the brooches were pretty expensive, i looked on ebay but i couldn't find anything i liked that was genuinely old! I used to make quite a few tiaras when i had more time for jewellery making! x

I have a vintage purple side tiara i made that won a jewellery making competition a while ago! Now where are my pliers.... :-) xx

thats whats great about this forum, it was sammies tiara that inspired me to also semi-make mine. I bought one that was similar to what i wanted, and changed it ......if you know what you want, it can be done.
