So my wedding dress came in to the shop last Saturday and I went and tried it on. Fell in love with it all over again and felt like such a princess. Cant believe it is actually mine and no longer trying on sample dresses. Was so careful with it and my mam and bridesmaids (both my sisters) loved it too. I am so excited to see my hubby to be's face on the day when he can eventually see me. We decided to keep his suits a surprise for me so I can see how handsome he will look on the day.

Hope everyone is having fun planning and trying on their dresses.

Very exciting and glad you fell in love with it all over again. I cannot wait until mine comes in - should be very soon now! I haven't seen OH's suit either and won't be seeing it until the day, but have seen the groomsmens suits.

For some reason it wont let me upload picture. Website keeps crashing. Will have to show you later ladies. I ordered my dress a year ago. Just knew it was the one so didn't hesitate to put down a deposit. I went to a café to weigh up the pros and cons. the café was where my grandma and grandpa used to go for little drive outs so it made sense. xx

It's a good name to take Naomi! Certainly a big improvement on my maiden name Buglass, which people could never pronounce right and never spell right, and even after correcting them most people still got it wrong. Sometimes I just gave up and let them go with the wrong version. I do find I still have to spell out Dixon, as some people would spell it Dickson. It did work to say as in the shop but I think the shop has gone. With a certain generation you can say "as in Dixon of Dock Green", which apparently was a TV show, but well before my time.

Elinor cant say I have heard of that tv programme haha. I know what you mean about the difference in spelling. My hubby to be has that issue all the time obviously. Dicksons is a family run butchers in the North East don't know if you have heard of it so he always compares his spelling to that.
