200 DAYS today. So excited and scared at the same time. Have attached with my girls to go dress shopping, and my mind coming and she is going to make them to keep costs down.
And hopefully going for meeting with the venue next week, if oh can get hold of his mother.

Im in a bit of a conundrum now.
while bm dress shopping, found 2 styles they all really liked

these two altho way out of budget from in the shop. being £195 each and £220

so having looked around found this dress
at about £60 and was thinking of buying some appliques to add to shoulders
like this to make it more like dress they tryed on

then found this dress on etsy

Which is nearly exactly the same as the dress they liked for £95

then one of the bms found this dress

which is a beautiful mix of both the ones they liked in the shop, for £70 or £85 in the bigger sizes.
but this last one is from a site im not sure on its reliability and thats its not some low quality scammy website.

love the shoes! and actually it would be super easy to make your own galaxy converse ;) really easy to paint that sort of design on especially if they're black to begin with x

The dress - £750 + alterations of guessing £200 and then £15 for tiara headband just need veil accessories - Mums paying
The shoes - £10 heels Paid, £30 wedge converse Paid + customisation £30 paid
The suit - £110 (I think) TBC - FOG paying
Bridesmaids dresses - £95 each for material for each adult x2, £? for jbm = £80 TBC (they are paying for material)
Flower girl/s - £50
Best man/ ushers - 108 each guys happy to pay for own even tho I offered 1/2, FOG paying for own and Grooms
Hair and make up - hair £175 for me + trial, and 3 adult bms and 1 junior and 1 fg,(£15 extra pp fro bm trail)
So works out about £60 for me including trial, then about £20 for the little ones and £25 for the big ones.
I have now opted to have a make up artist (airbrush), £70 inc trial , Bms £35, one of 3 are definaltly having it too, but thos 2 are unsure, one is worried about cost , and the other that originaly was like no i will do mine, is now like i want i trial but will see (they are paying, trials additional £25)
Flowers - £220 for bouquets etc, centre peices half paid
Cake- £230 (£50 deposit paid)
Invites - £60
Ceremony -registra is 450 + 70 giving notice (£50 deposit paid)
Photographer - around £600 whole day (£150 deposit paid)
Videographer - £600 booked someone who has done weddings before but limited experience, (went uni with oh doing media)
Reception - £>4255 for everything whole day 2 course meal, welcome , meal and toasting drinks, ceremony, decorations and bridal suit. - (£450 deposit paid)
Dj/ band - £1035 ish - POG paying
Favours - FBIL making for us £0
How many guests - 74 adults invited for ceremony plus 22 kids (under 12) and additional 35ish for reception
What day - Tuesday

Honeymoon - not decided yet
kids entertainment - 110 entertainment (gift from sil) + £85 bouncy castle
Gifts - £100
Rings : £165
Budget = 8400
total cost so far ( to us) = £3570
left to pay= £2427
saved = 1,200

/24 weeks = need to save £26

Wow-sorry to hear she was like that, at least the venue know it's not a reflection on you and your fiancé.

Glad we're going to our tasting alone. At least all the food was good though so you know it will be fab on the day as well.

lol my mum made my daughter and littlest sisters dresses for her wedding (to match our bridesmaids dresses that weren't available small enough) and my sister still dances around in it now whenever she can lol, nearly a year later! x

Jan - Bridesmaid dresses, Food tasting, Invites (1st lot)
bm dress design picked, going to pick material/colour this month, food tasting done, day invites all sent.
Feb - payment for flowers, try dress once steamed, decide if want a hoop, find veil and order
having a problem with my flower lady communication, going to see dress tomorrow with extra bling and order veil.
March- Organise Hen doo, invites (2nd lot)
hen doo mainly sorted and girls organising the rest. need to get deposits from girls going by end of the month. all day invites already sent.
next
April- Hair trial, sort guys suits (done), eyebrows, engagement shoot. Number with video guy
may - Rings(done), Stag Do(done), Dress fitting, Invites (evening do), talk with band regarding setlist and dj playlist list.
June - Hair cut,nails, Make Decorations, Hen do,Birthday (Chase up RSVPS) Finalise Seating plan
July- FBIL make favours, me and FSIL make up boxes and box up, eyebrows, lashes and nails.

Thanks girls, im really happy now, ive been stressing so much about the dress fitting, but i think working out i may have not lost alot of weight but must have lost inches, im so happy with the shape at the back.

well as a few of you know, been having a few problems, but trying not to wallow.
my hair trial did not go well, and im now seriously considering doing my own.

and my dress maker is having to go home to romania as her mother is really ill.
but my mum thinks she may have found someone else to make them and we are going to meet her on sunday.

They are lovely xx

This is my daughters 2nd dress for the day. So she can run around and go on the bouncy castle without having to worry about tripping.
