I've just made a short list of sweets for my sweetie table:
shrimps bananas cola bottles fried eggs milk bottles giant strawberries fizzy cherries strawberry milkshakes jelly brains pint pots astro belts strawberry pencils marshmallows pink & white mice brown jazzies white jazzies peanut brittle coconut mushrooms black and raspberry jellys rainbow sherbert dipdabs
I have got roughly 200-230 guests by the evening, and i am planning on having smaller amounts of sweets but lots of variety.
What do you ladies think?

sounds good to me. My FBIL is doing our for us as that's his business, although I am insisting on having cola bottles lol. I think I will do a list for him too xxx Are you doing it yourself xx

Yeah i've decided to do it myself, as i have known people to have the sweetie carts brought in and theres no been much choice etc and it's cost lots.
Ive just priced up those sweets on a website i'm using and it's come to less than £100 for 500g/just over 1lb of each sweet.
I do need tongs and scoops etc so i'll get looking in pound land and the likes for them! Thanks

500g for £100 thats expensive hun, see if you can find someone with a makros or bookers card you can get 3kg bags for less then £10 each and sometimes on offer for around £7, I own a sweet cart and average it out at 150g per person. Alot of businesses hire out just the cart on its own aswell hope this helps xx
31st August 2013 I became Mrs Carrick
Cant wait to do it all over again in 2018
i've got 500g of each sweet for less that £5 each -total cost comes to less than £100.
Sorry, realised that it read a bit weird!
