Had a great day at my sisters wedding yesterday! Wedding supposed to start at 1pm,didn't get started til 1.35 as about twenty Nigerians were late for it grr so she was waiting in the car outside! We had prawn cocktail and piri piri chicken, then tapas and pork for evening. Very emotional day....and went the fastest wedding I've ever been to. The Africans all wore traditional dress and did a massive Nigerian arrival dance into the reception which was fun,and they grabbed my dad and got him to join in, he looked uncomfortable but gave it a go. Then today she had her African ceremony where she wore traditional African dress.

Africans have the most gorgeous dresses. They're very laid back, which is why African time is totally different to any other perception of time. We once had a baptism at church for a Nigerian family, and the minister gave them a time of an hour before, as he knew how late they tended to arrive. Some still arrived after the service started.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

The three girls together with flowers are mine, the one on her own is my niece,my brothers daughter but I had to add that photo as I love it! Some ppl say we look alike but a lot don't as she's a lot taller than me, most ppl say we sound like each other though x
