Was the guy who took them a professional? Without sounding negative (but it's going to be) they're all out of focus, now whether you've uploaded them correctly it may affect the quality. However if I were you I'd be concerned if this is the quality of his work on a pre-wedding shoot. His wedding photography won't instill you with confiedence.

    These are awful.

Who is the photographer so that I can avoid booking them?

I would find someone else before it is too late.

I agree the quality isn't great, but then it could be as they're scanned and not the "raw" shots so to speak......as a comparison here is one of our engagement shot photos......

I have made this smaller from the original in order to post on here.

These photographs are not the work of a professional photographer. That is blatantly obvious.
You've been tempted to book a photographer on price only and not the quality of their work.
I really hope that your wedding day photographs are a vast improvement on these. Not only are they out of focus, they show a lack of skill in posing couples, poor colour, contrast, exposure and prove that the faux tog that took these has no understanding how to use light or lighting correctly.
The faults here are not because you've incorrectly sized or scanned the images. They are just not of a professional standard.
UK Brides has a long history of promoting sub standard photography and poorly trained photographers, to the detriment of your wedding day.
Don't be suckered in by work like this, it's well below acceptable standards within the industry.
There again you obviously got what you paid for. Too late now I expect.

little harsh ! i agree the photos are of poor quality but whereas websites like these give suppliers the platform to advertise they dont endorse them! and personally i think it is down to the individual to check the work and do there own research to make sure they get what thye are expecting or wanting! to me these photos do not look great but the poster is not concerned and im guessing they have seen the actual pictures and if they are happy with them then thats what matters!! not anyone elses place to judge and yes sometimes it does have to come down to what the individual can afford i personally cant afford to spend £100's on photo's luckily my h2b works with a published wedding photographer who is a good friend and is doing ours for £200 which we have be paying off for the last 5 months but if we hadn't had him we would have had to go with our budget!

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I haven't even thought about choosing a photographer yet as we have 34 months till our wedding!!!
I would like engagement shots - but should I book someone now for my wedding just to have those done? I think I'd rather get a friend with a good camera - why is everything so expensive
I think you both look very happy in your photos x

The two very negative comments on here are blatantly from photographers on here. I agree that they're nothing speical and obviously photos of photos so that will reduce quality but they are as I say...nothing special although you two do look very happy. You can do better though.

When I say they're nothing special... I am of course referring to the skill of the photographer! Not the lovely couple! You look so happy and comfortable!

The only thing that matters is that the happy couple are happy with the pictures theyrecieve. If not then they need to start thinking about how to get some of their money back. Hope your wedding pictures are gorgeous and you love them xx

Now I don't know if its been said here (sorry I skimmed) but I know it's been said else where and I agree....

These look like the Micky has taken photos of actual prints that she has been given physically as opposed to files been sent through email etc

I mean her exact words were "I v just had final meeting with photographer and he gave us our pre wedding foto s". That says to me the prints have been physically handed over.

I think its extremely mean of anyone leaving negative comments right now. I'm sure the last thing ANY bride wants when she comes back online after getting married is to see this level of negativity.

I think the pics look lovely and the couple look so so happy, Micky loves the photos and that's all that counts surely?

I thought they were really cute! I hate the staged posed couples photos - I think these show the raw love and happiness of the couple!

I don't think people were trying to be mean to or about the couple! At least I wasn't... I thi there was a voice of concern being said though out of compassion!
