    Well Saturday is my hen day/night and I have a bandaged up toe. I dropped the Hoover on it the other day and when I woke up yesterday morning I couldn't stand on it and in so much pain. Well went to the doctors and they sent me to a & e who said I have an infection in it and they have to remove the toenail. I had 3 injections of anesthetic and it still wasn't fully numb so had to have gas and air as well while they done it. It was really painful. So now it's bandaged up and I am on antibiotics. Oh and can't get it wet. Well Saturday daytime we are doing its a knockout which involves water and in the evening going for a meal and nightclub now I have to find some flat shoes to go with my dress as I can't wear heels. Why did if have to happen the week of my hen!!'

    You poor thing :(

    For the its a knockout I am sure you can get things to go over limbs to stop it getting wet. My OH had one when he broke his ankle and couldn't get his cast wet.

    Ouch, that sounds painful! You could wear one of those athletes foot socks for the it's a knockout thing.

    I broke my toe two weeks before our blessing and party so I had to wear trainers with my wedding dress and do the first dance in them! That was erm...interesting! So you have my sympathy. Hope it heels quickly x

    oh you poor thing! i had the same minus dropping the hoover on it it was horrible my toe nail took a good 6 months to come back well sort of i now have an extension on it cos of the summer and the wedding coming up i have peep toe shoes x

    Oh no hope you are ok, Thats what i want to do for our hen and stag, Mine took at least 6 months to grow back aswell, I had big and little toe nails come off after a accident, on the same foot.

    Well ladies had my hen day and it was fantastic! I had the best day ever and totally forgot about my toe with all the excitement lol. I would recommend its a knockout to anyone we had so much fun I think we were laughing all day. Then had a lovely meal in the evening. Here's a few pics
