my mum thinks after spending alot of money on the weddin to go and spend £100 quid on my h2b for a gift on the day is stupid!
i got him a pocket watch to wear on the day( we having a victorian wedding) and a crystal decanter as he like his spirits!
i just wanted to get him a little something!

whats other ppl opinions as i feel my mums is lil bit sour or am i just being sensitive?
    xx

It's probably because it's kind of a new tradition. I mean they never had boudoir shoots till recently

i think 100 is suitable. as lisa says ppl are going down boudoir shoots and whilst ive only looked into it slightly, aveerage price is 150 to 175 for this so i think the pocket watch is defo ok. I like the idea of the victorian wedding too.... slightly jealous now hehe,

I think that after everything he does for you its nice to show your appreciation to him and I think that is more than fair. Can you really put a price on your h2b?

my mum and a few friends were shocked when i said i was getting ed a present! i think it is a fairly new tradition so parents wont understand and i suppose £100 does seem alot on a gift but you are only getting married once and compared to other things on the day it is quite a small price. do what makes you happy xx
