I’m so excited!! We booked our venue yesterday my mum and step dad have come down for a bank holiday visit and mum really wanted to see the venue we wanted.......we hadn’t booked it yet as the deposit was £1000 within 14 days of booking and we don't have enough saved yet, but we went so my parents could see it anyway and there was a wedding on later that day so we got to see the function room all set up for a wedding breakfast, it looked beautiful!!

My mum and step dad liked it too, and after walking around the grounds, looking at the accomodation rooms and the bridal suite, they offered as their wedding gift to us, to pay for the deposit!!!!!! I wasn't expecting anything at all never mind £1000!

So excited we actually have a date and a venue confirmed.......saving is a definite priority now and I am so chuffed i can start looking at things knowing when and where its all going to happen!!!

The date i originally wanted was gone but we are now officially getting married on Saturday 3rd August 2013!!

Was on the phone first thing this morning to the registrar to book them and make our ‘give notice’ appointment!

Its really happening....argh.....OMG!!!
