    Sorry, it’s a long one!
I had my hen night on Saturday and can honestly say it was the best day/night of my life! My sister and bridesmaids had organised a night absolutely perfect for me-I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
I was awake from about 5am on the Saturday as I was too excited to sleep lol so got up and had a nice relaxing bath. My H2B was having his stag do on the same day so he got up shortly after me and drove to his mum and dads house ready for his paintballing.
It was lovely having the house to myself for a few hours as I knew that before long it would be full of friends and family.
One of my bridesmaids, Lisa had text me earlier in the week and asked me if she could take me to lunch before the evening ‘do’ started so we could have some time together, just us. She wouldn’t tell me where though as she wanted it to be a surprise! She came to pick me up at 12 and had to unpack her car before we went as she said she’d been baking that morning and just kept pulling out trays and trays of cupcakes-it was amazing! We then set off and I had no idea where we were going (expecting a pub lunch or something) but then we turned into the Chewton Glen hotel! For anyone who doesn’t know the area (Christchurch/Bournemouth) this hotel is VERY posh with INCREDIBLE food. I was sooo glad I’d worn a skirt and heels instead of jeans and flip flops lol. We were seated and given a glass of champagne-my friend had put a ‘Bride To Be’ balloon on the table for me too :) we chose our food and it was soooo delicious! We both had scallops with mango and papaya salad to start. Then I had soft boiled quails eggs with mushroom pate and a pastry toast and my friend had skate with smoked watermelon and strawberry foam. Then we shared chocolate terrine and strawberry parfait for dessert. Yummy! We lost track of time as we were talking and laughing so much and before we knew it my mum was calling to find out where we were as it was 3pm and I had to go and meet another friend, Liam at the train station. She paid the bill and we rushed back to my house where my mum was waiting to take me to the station and Lisa stayed at mine just in case anybody arrived whilst I was gone. At the station my mum told me she wasn’t waiting for me and Liam and I had to walk back (it takes about 25 minutes!). I was quite put out especially as I hadn’t bought a jacket with me and the sky looked ominous. I met Liam and we started to walk back, it was lovely to see him as we hadn’t seen each other for almost a year but it was like we’d never been apart-so much to talk about we didn’t notice it start to rain at first. Then it really started to chuck it down! I was in a tiny summer skirt and the day before, I’d had hair extensions done and it takes about an hour to blow dry them (nightmare!). We started to run but it was useless, we were too far away and already soaked. I felt like crying-all my carefully applied make up had come off and my extensions were drenched :( we got back to my house just as my mum was pulling up in her car looking devastated-I was really cross but trying not to show it, she was almost in tears and said I would see why she couldn’t bring us back when I got in the house...I knocked on the door as I didn’t have a bag/key with me and when my sister opened it I could see why! Lisa and my sister, Jess had been decorating the house in preparation for my party-there was a ton of food-lush bread, sandwiches and cakes, bottles and bottles of champagne and amazing banners, sashes etc everywhere-completely transformed! My sis had even made me a ‘Hen Party Mix’ cd with all my fave songs plus a generous helping of cheese-I loved it! I went from feeling cold, wet and miserable to happy and excited again in a few seconds lol. Unfortunately Liam and I were still drenched though so we had to put our clothes in the tumble dryer and I had a marathon hair drying session, reapplied make up and put my playboy bunny costume on. Before I knew it all my other friends had arrived in their bunny outfits-everyone made an amazing effort for me, I was really touched.
We all sat and drunk and played silly/fun games like ‘never have I ever’ and then my mum came over to take some photos of us all. Just then my sister and friends opened the front door and started shouting for me to go outside...I walked out the door and saw a huge pink fire engine pull up followed by a limo!!! My sister had told me she’d ordered taxis to take everyone into Bournemouth so I was not expecting this!! I posed by the fire engine for a few pics and then we all stood by the limo together sticking our tails out as my friends took some more photos. My neighbours came out to wish me a good night as well. I got in the fire engine with my sis and my bridesmaids and a couple of others and my other friends got in the limo. We all drank champagne and listened to some girly party songs, waving and loudly shouting out the window to passers by that I was getting married (as if they didn’t realise lol).
We then pulled up outside Walkabout in Bournemouth and met up with another group of my friends who were waiting outside for us. We went in and got taken to the VIP area that my sis had hired out and there was a huge table set up with platters of lush food, cocktails, glasses of champagne and shots! It was amazing! I helped myself to a **** on the beach and started dancing away  everybody knew we were a hen do and we got a really good, friendly reception from other people in the bar. About an hour passed and this bar man with no top on came and introduced himself as ‘Antonio’ my stripper for the evening-LOL! I had specifically said to everyone I didn’t want a stripper and this was actually not planned but it turned out to be one of highlights of the night! It was so funny and there are loads of photos on the walkabout website. For some reason I can’t upload them onto here but these are the links-I'm the one in the purple rabbit costume!

We carried on drinking and dancing and didn’t get home until 4am but the best bit was not having a hangover the next day! I got up at 7, tidied the house and had a nice chilled out day with H2B laughing and talking about our nights. He was quite peeved that I got a stripper and he didn’t! An amazing night-sorry it’s so long! xxx
