my h2b sometimes seems so eager about getting started on planning/booking etc our wedding..
we saw a venue a few weeks ago that was absolutely stunning but we knew would be way out of our price range. after some digging about I find a venue that is equally as beautiful (both are local vineyards...) and well within our budget, it took me so long finding this place I was really excited to tell h2b about it as he'd said he'd love to get married in a place like this but that we'd never be able to afford it.. we booked an appointment to go for a viewing today but on friday he tells me that he doesnt want to see the venue this weekend and we'll ring and book another appointment for in the future.
all weekend he has pestered me to see if i have phoned them yet, so I rang them this morning to cancel and when I got off the phone he asked what they had said so i explained then he pipes up and says so what time today are we going to see the venue?? I was like WHAT?
h2b said he hadnt wanted me to cancel but wanted me to ring and book an appointment, i thought no dont try a nd pull this one I remember you clearly saying on friday to cancel the appointment.....why are men like this?????
sorry just needed to write it all down as I feel a bit teary and dont want him to see me crying, sorry if i come across as having a strop I just feel bit confused by h2b.

I have long given up trying to figure out what goes on in a mans head!! Poor you, maybe you could sit him down and tell him how you feel and how much hard work you put in to finding the venue? x

awww hunni! Men can be such ar5ses sometimes :-( Let it blow over and then book another appointment, if he moans just ignore it and still go along, once he's seen somewhere that is beautiful and affordable he'll want it booked xx

awwwww hun...it will be okay, my H2B was the same really..he didnt come and look at any venues with my until I found one I loved. He expected me to go and find the one I most liked then he would just come to see that one. Luckily the one I finally made him come and see he loved and we booked...
Am sure your H2B will love it when you book to see it again and then you can get it booked hun xx

Give them a ring and tell them what he's done - I'm sure they'll understand. I made my h2b come round to look at all the venues that I wanted to see, but I did a lot of research on my own before. In the end we found our venue on the one day that he was able to have off work to go round looking at them.

well we was goin to see one venue this one day and h2b said we can pop in to see the other venue if i wanted ( it wasnt in our price range but he wanted to see it) he feel in luv wiv it and luckily they had an offer on that made it below are price range whoop lol

grrr bloomin men! my h2b did that too but told me not to cancel and if i wanted go look around myself. i did, loved it, took him back and he loved it too. men like to strop then blame it on the women! i am finding that if i drop something subtle then leave it, dont even talk about it, it will go through his mind and after a few days will want to do something about it lol but just ignore him, must be his time of the month ;)

Grrr to boys!! All I can say who---I have no idea sometimes as to what goes through their heads and way they say one thing and then back track. I am sure all of us girlies on here have had that experience with our H2B over something.
Personally, stick to your guns. Never cancel anything again. Just drag him along. Or if he wont. Drag your bridesmaid,friend,family member or whoever. These boys freak out at the stupidest of things and then at the last minute regret the situ. My H2B did it loads early on in the planning stage. So just ingore them. Lol.xxx

he was grovelling loads last night kept apolagising and said he must of seemed like a right idiot...but i did tell him that from now on i wont be cancelling anything again and if he doesnt want to come thats ok.also mentioned how much research/time it took me to find that place...(the 'in' budget vineyard) he had said he wanted, and that i only did it for him and that if that is how he will behave i wont be doing anything like that again..he said sorry, he cant wait to get married etc.... grrrr men are so daft! thanks for all your help girlies xx

I feel really bad now Joe hasnt even seen the venue.. He is looking at it in April when we fly over, which would be a bit to late to back out and we have paid £500
