My h2b is a genius!! For those of you ordering fine sand for your table decorations in white!!! DON'T BOTHER! Save your money and use table salt!! I ordered a 10lb bag of sand that is tiddley!! Its only when he looked at it that he said 'You got done, should have used table salt' that I thought AHAAAAA! Genius!! So I am now doing a few jars with salt and using the sand in the others! Will save me a fortune as sand was 15 pound for the bag and I need lots of it!! :) Will upload a mock up of my table decorations soon.....Watch this space! :) xxx

Edited to say - Obviously don't use water with the salt! Lol! You don't want to be able to gargle with it! Not sure how well it would work with candles either! :D

what a good idea! you could throw a load of glitter in with it that you can get cheap from anywhere to make them different colours that go with your theme? can't wait to see the salty pics!

Genius! I've been thinking about centerpieces and secretly wondering if I could botch the whole thing as it's a huge cost, but with the salt I could put together something quite cheap!! Great post haha sometimes the easiest solution is overlooked by us brides lol
